Auto Stop Timeclock
Administrators can now configure activities to automatically stop Timeclock entries when a volunteer forgets to check out.
Administrators can:
Enable Auto Stop Timeclock for individual activities.
Set the Maximum Hours that should be credited when an entry is automatically stopped.
Apply the Auto Stop setting to multiple activities using Bulk Activity Updates.
Choose whether Auto-Stopped Timeclock entries require approval.
Easily identify and filter Auto-Stopped entries when reviewing volunteer hours.
When Auto Stop is enabled, the system will automatically close an open Timeclock entry 12 hours after its calculated end time (check-in time + Maximum Hours). The volunteer is credited the configured Maximum Hours, and the entry is identified as Auto-Stopped.
Enterprise administrators can also configure Maximum Hours on Activity Templates, with the setting carrying over when an organization creates an activity from the template.
Volunteer Thank You Messages
Volunteers will now see a thank-you message after successfully logging their hours in My Impact.
The message acknowledges their contribution and includes the hours logged, activity, and date. One of 10 pre-defined messages is displayed after each successful submission, with no additional configuration required. Pasted markdown
Organizations using Client Impact will also see this new experience when volunteers successfully log a client encounter, providing an acknowledgment of their contribution immediately after the encounter is saved.
Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) Badge
A new Certified Volunteer Administrator (CVA) badge is now available on the administrator dashboard.
The badge recognizes administrators who have completed CVA certification through an independent, external certification process. The CVA badge is displayed alongside other administrator badges and is enabled by Better Impact for certified administrators.
The new CVA badge replaces the previous Champion badge.
