Saving Searches with Dynamic Dates
Updated yesterday

👀 To make searches and reports used regularly easier and more effective, consider Dynamic Dates. Dynamic Dates allow you to save date criteria based on time-frame rules rather than specific dates.

👉 Basic Dynamic Dates: Create a time frame or date based on the current day, week, month, quarter, or year.

Example: To search for or report on data for this month so far, instead of entering the exact dates for the first of the month and today, the Basic Dynamic Dates will be “On or After The Start of the Current Month” AND “On or Before The Current Day”. Once the search or report is saved, it will provide you with the data for the current month-to-date no matter when you run it.

👉 Advanced Dynamic Dates: Create a time frame or date based on any combination of days, weeks, months, quarters, or years in the past or the future.

Example: To search for or report on data in the last 6 months, instead of entering the exact dates, the Advanced Dynamic Dates will be “On or After 6 months Before The Current Day” and “On or Before The Current Day”. Once the search or report is saved, it will provide you with the data for the last 6 months no matter when you run it.
