About this feature: Some countries and mobile service providers allow for mobile emails; a special email address used to receive texts on a phone. A volunteer must add a special email address to their profile if they wish to receive communication in this manner. Many service providers charge to receive “mobile email”; however, it does not cost anything for you to send them from Better Impact.
Send Mobile Email to One Volunteer
- Click the person icon at the top of the screen and type the person’s name into the Quick Search bar.
- Click on the person’s name from the list that appears.
- Click on the “Communications” tab
- Click “Send Mobile Email” tab
- Compose the Message (maximum 100 characters)
- Optional: Check “Send me a copy of this message” to have a copy of the email sent to the address associated with your profile. A list of the recipients will appear at the bottom of that message. The selection you make will be remembered the next time you return to send a mobile email.
- Click the [Send Mobile Email] button
Send Mobile Email to Multiple Volunteers
- Go to Communicate, then click on “Send Mobile Email” found in the sidebar under Email
- Search for the desired profile(s)
- Compose the message (maximum 100 characters)
- Optional: Check “Send me a copy of this message” to have a copy of the email sent to the address associated with your profile. A list of the recipients will appear at the bottom of that message. The selection you make will be remembered the next time you return to send a mobile email.
