To view Survey responses, navigate through Reports >> Survey Reports. Use the options icon next to the survey to select “View Responses”.
There are 3 sections:
Survey Details
Response Records
Response Data
Note: If a survey was NOT anonymous, responses can also be viewed within a user's profile within the Reports tab.
Survey Details
Name – name of survey
End Date – if configured to have an end date, it will be listed here
Active – indicates if the survey is currently active
Responses – indicate if users are allowed to submit multiple responses
Response Records
View the names of users who have completed the survey. If the survey is anonymous, then no names will be listed here.
Filter by response date
Sort by Response Date or Name and Response Date
Adjust the page size
Select “Filter Responses” to apply filters and sort preferences.
Delete Survey Response
Under Response Records, select the entries you want to delete.
Click [Delete Selected Survey Responses]
Confirm your selection and click [Delete Selected Survey Responses]
View Individual Survey Response
Under Response Records, find the entry you want to view
Use the option icon next to the record to select “View”
Response Data
By default, all survey responses are included in the Visualization and Tabular Format sections. To only include specific responses, make your selection in the Response Records section and click [Visualize Select Responses].
Visualize Survey Responses
This section will translate each of your survey questions into a graphic that matches the type of data you are collecting.
Graphic types include
Graphs
Pie
Bar (vertical and horizontal)
Doughnut
Scatter
Histogram
Tables
Word Cloud
Customize Graphics
Use the drop-down menu along the top of each graphic to customize it further. The customization options available will depend on the type of graphic.
Download graphic
Use the Camera icon to download the graphic as a PNG when you are happy with it.
When viewing a graphic, you will also see the options to;
Zoom
Pan
Box Select
Lasso Select
Auto-scale
Reset Axes
Download Plot as PNG File
Box or Lasso selections that you make will display on the PNG that is downloaded
Responses in Tabular Format
Export your responses in a CSV format here by selecting the CSV button. CSV files can be opened in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
You can also view responses in a tabular format while in Better Impact.
Use the Show field to determine how many entries you want to view
Use the Search field to search responses by key word
Customizations
Adjustments made here will be exported if you choose the export to CSV option
Drag and drop columns into a different order
Hide Columns
Move to Details – remove the column from view and nest the answer within the response’s details
Details are accessible by select the 3 dots found before the first column
Sort
Search
