Add Activity Category

About this feature: Activity Categories can be used to group similar activities together. Grouping can help organize the activities, making it easier for volunteers to navigate through, and help administrators quickly find and report on associated activities. 

  1. Go to: Configuration, then click on “Manage Activities” found in the sidebar under Activities 
  1. Mouse over the Options icon in the “Activities” header and click on “New Category” (or click the [+ New Category] button at the bottom of the page) 
  1. Enter an Activity Category name (maximum 50 characters) 
  1. Optional: Enter a Description 
  1. Click the [Save] button
