Organizational Default Hours Logging Permissions
- Go to: Configuration, then click on “Hours and Timeclock Settings” found in the sidebar under Activities
- Set the desired options for logging hours in the organization:
- Allow volunteers to see their recorded feedback fields: you can choose to let your volunteers view the information they have entered
- Prevent volunteers from logging hours in the future: restricts volunteers to logging hours for the current date or a date in the past
- Default Log Hours Permission: logging hours permissions from MyImpactPage.com (cannot log hours, can log hours with approval, can log hours without approval)
- Default Date for New Volunteer Timelog Entries: Select whether the date field will be blank or populated with today’s date when volunteers log their hours
- Default Timeclock Permission: timeclock permission for timeclocks on a computer, or mobile phone, if permitted (cannot log hours, can log hours with approval, can log hours without approval)
- Enable volunteer mobile timeclock lets volunteers start a timeclock on their mobile device when they go to MyImpactPage.mobi
- Enable volunteer express timeclock lets volunteers start a timeclock by showing a QR code or just entering their username when they visit your Express Timeclock link
- Click the [Save] button
Individual Hours Logging Permissions
You can have a volunteer follow a rule that is different than the one set in Organizational Default Permissions:
- Click the person icon at the top of the screen and type the person’s name into the Quick Search bar.
- Click on the volunteer’s name when it appears in the list
- In the “Main” tab, click on the “Miscellaneous” section and select “Volunteer”
- Set the desired “Log Hours Permission” and/or “Timeclock Permission” for the volunteer
- Click the [Save] button
