Remove/Delete Donor Profiles

IMPORTANT: Removing a donor profile is final and cannot be undone; the recorded donations will remain for reporting purposes only. Since this is a very final action, it has been placed in its own interface to avoid accidental removal of a donor profile. Depending on the circumstance, you might want to consider archiving the profileinstead (steps above). 

Warning: Before removing a Donor be sure to cancel any active recurring donation subscriptions. You will not be able to remove a Donor if they have an active subscription.

Remove/Delete One Donor 

1. Go to People, then click on “Remove Donors” found in the sidebar under Donors 

2. Search for the donor you would like to remove 

3. Mouse over the Options icon beside the donor 

4. Click on “Remove” 

5. Click the [Remove] button to confirm 

Remove Multiple Donors 

1. Go to People, then click on “Remove Donors” found in the sidebar under Donors 

2. Search for the donors you would like to remove 

3. Check the box beside each donor you would like to remove (or check the “Select All” box at the bottom) 

4. Scroll to the bottom and click the [Remove Donors] button 

5. Confirm that you understand that this process cannot be undone (which even includes if you phone us and ask really, really nicely). Please be certain you want them gone for good. 

6. Click the [Remove Donors] button
