Add New Donation Program

  1. Go to Configuration, then click on “Donation Programs” found in the sidebar under Donation 
  1. Click the [New Donation Program] button near the bottom of the page or click the [+] button to the left of the “Program” list heading 
  1. Display on reports as: Enter the name of the Program as you want it displayed on your reports (maximum 50 characters) 
  1. Display to donors as: Enter the name of the Program as you want displayed to donors when they are recording a donation (i.e. unrestricted, capital campaign, your specific organization programs, etc) – (maximum 200 characters) 
  1. Check the box to make the Donation Program Active
    • If you ever want to stop using a specific Donation Program but want to keep the data, you can turn it off by making it ‘Inactive’ 
  2. Optional: Check the Recurring donations box to allow a donor to create a recurring donation subscription for this program
  3. Optional: Enter a Description that is visible to donors 
  4. Optional: Enter a Default Donation Amount 
  5. Optional: Enter one or more Suggested Donation Amounts by entering the amount, then click the [Add Suggested Amount] button 
  6. Click the [Save] button 

      Tip: You can change the order in which Donation Programs will display by clicking and holding the [Drag and Drop] button and moving the Program to its new position. 
      You can make a copy of an existing Donation Program by mousing over the Options icon to the left of the program.
